How has the W@W experience impacted your life?

“Winter at Westminster and being in Utah in general has greatly influenced my level of health. W@W group hiking and snowboarding and being in a community that values going to the gym and exercising has motivated me to be more healthy and active. I go running with my roommate and lift weights and rock climb. I feel like I learned a lot about what I like and don’t like, and how to be myself. Of course I also learned crazy new sports like split boarding and kite boarding that I would never have done on my own.”

What was your favorite resort to ride at?

“Snowbird.  I love steep rocky terrain. I also like the fact that Snowbird feels like a ski area and not a “resort”. The atmosphere is great along with the snow. I like Brighton the day we spent there too.”

~ Graham Miles

Home School: University of Montana

Major: Management Information Systems

Minor: Environmental Studies

“The Canyons – the resort has a really fun terrain park and it’s so big that you can always find untouched powder.  Also, they put on a lot of great events like slopestyle competitions and rail jams.”
